4K - $55K a year The Human Resource Specialist performs duties at the professional level in some or all of the following functional areas:
Employee Relations, Management Coaching, Training and Development, Employment Equity program, and Legal Compliance.
This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.
The HR Specialist must be self-driven, versatile, sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and business needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Partners with Corporate HR Manager on decisions related to personnel including confidential and sensitive matters.
Ability to communicate sensitive matters in a direct and diplomatic fashion.
Ensures legal compliance in all aspects of the specialist function.
Assists Corporate HR Manager in coaching, counseling, and guiding managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
Assists with hiring tasks as needed Acts as an employee relations specialist when needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND
Experience:
2-4 years of business experience in Human Resources Bachelor's degree in HR or related field Possess Business writing skills A Multi-tasker Must be Ethical, positive, friendly and outgoing This is a full-time position.
